There are a few things my home state of Utah is known for. We are known as the Beehive state, having lots of Seagulls, having the Mormons, and fry sauce just to name a few. Today I am going to share the easiest fry sauce recipe!
If you are unfamiliar with fry sauce let me fill you in. This fry sauce recipe is the perfect easy dipping sauce for all things potatoes. You want fries, dip it. How about tator-tots? Dip them! You get the gist.
I also love to put fry sauce on my burgers and steak. Don’t judge me. I am a Utah born and raised girl and I ain’t ever leaving! LOL!
Guys…Fry sauce can be either way simple or way over extravagant. Depending on my mood will depend on how extravagant I make my fry sauce but I decided to share with you guys a base that you can then add things to if you feel so inclined.
Fry sauce is just mayo and ketchup. GASP! What? I know, not too appealing but with the right spices and add-ins, you can turn this mix into something magical.
Here is a list of ingredients I use.
- Season All
- Horseradish Sauce
- Pickle Juice
How to Make Fry Sauce
Easy Fry Sauce Recipe
- 1/4 C Mayo
- 1 TBSP Ketchup
- 1/4 tsp Horseradish Sauce
- 1/4 tsp Season All
- 1 tsp Pickle Juice
- Mix all ingredients together.
- BBQ sauce
- Dill Relish
- Hot Sauce
This is a super easy recipe and is the perfect way to start introducing your kids or your spouse into the kitchen?
I like to throw all the ingredients into a bowl and let the kids stir to their little heart’s content. They love it and I feel like I am teaching them life skills!
