Are you ever in a hurry to get dinner on the table? If you answered yes to this you better own an Instant Pot. The Instant Pot has changed dinner at my home and a large part of that is because of amazing food bloggers that have created new and modified old recipes to work in it!
One of my all-time favorite food bloggers who has a ton of Instant Pot recipes is Cooking with Karli.
This week I decided to make her “Instant Pot Dump and Start Creamy Italian Chicken Pasta”.
Let me tell you something about this recipe. It is EASY! I can not get over how easy and how fast this meal came together. I kid you not one of the easiest meals EVER.
Want to know something else about this recipe? It is delicious! My family gobbled it up. My husband requested I add it to the monthly rotation. He went as far as to say, “this is one of my favorite things you have ever made!”. Even my kiddos commented on how tasty it was.
Things I Learned
There are just a few things I learned with this simple recipe.
- I would add just a little more chicken next time. We love chicken in our home but I think this recipe would be good without chicken too if you are vegetarian.
- Cube the cream cheese into small pieces. I cubed the cream cheese but not into small pieces and it definitely made the mixing take longer than it should have.
- Serve with a side salad. I served this dish with garlic toast but I wish I would have also served a side salad so we had a little crunch on our plates.
- This recipe is seriously creamy. It is SO GOOD.
Karli not only hit a home run with this recipe but the instructions are clear and easy to follow. Even a first time Instant Pot user can nail this one-pot meal.
